Oliver Chace's Thread Mill was built in 1840 in Fall River, MA. It was added to the National Historic Register in 1983, the mill was later part of the Conanicut Mill complex. The company's owner, Oliver Chace was the founder of several New England textile companies in the early 19th century. This included the Valley Falls Company, which later became Berkshire Hathaway, currently one of the largest companies in the world.
