Half in England, half in Wales, this is Thomas Telford\'s aqueduct over the River Ceiriog at Chirk. Built between 1796 and 1801, it\'s 70 feet tall and has 10 spans. The railway viaduct, added in 1846, stands 30 feet above the canal. This is the aqueduct viewed from the viaduct.
