Notes
The Fall River granite constructed Chace Mill was built in 1872. This cotton mill had a capacity of over 43,000 spindles. Like most of the historic textiel mills of Fall River, it is built in the Italianate style. The mill was taken over by Arkwright in 1929 and was added to the National Historic Register in 1983.
In 1999 a fire destroyed the adjacent weave shed and cotton storage buildings, but the main mill was saved.
