Notes: Historic photograph of repairs to the eyebars of the Niagara Railroad suspension bridge in 1872. The bridge was constructed for the Grand Trunk Railroad Company in 1853 by John A. Roebling. The bridge was extensively modified to carry more weight in 1886.
