Historic photograph of pedestrian/carriage deck of the Niagara Railroad bridge. A man is looking out from the bridge. The bridge was constructed for the Grand Trunk Railroad Company in 1853 by John A. Roebling. The bridge was extensively modified to carry more weight in 1886.
